hey everyone what is up decoded this side, and in today's blog we are going to discuss a thing which is recently introduced by brawl stars that is the map maker
so let's go

map maker is a new feature which is introduced by brawl stars currently this feature is in beta version ie this is not a polished version also there could be some glitches or in short, this feature can be removed anytime it like hot zone was removed by brawl stars
in map maker, we can create the map for the game modes like gem grab, heist, brawl ball, showdown
SOME BASIC INFO OF MAP MAKER:
map maker is a feature in which we can create the map for the other game modes like brawl ball, heist, gem grab, bounty, siege currently the game is in beta version ie the game development is not yet ready so that's why we got only 3 games to edit but in future, we also get seige and the bounty it is not confirmed whether it will stay for us for forever or not it will be decided by the player if they liked this then they will do some improvement and put it permanently but if the player didn't like it will be removed like graveyard-shift and hot zone were removed but now they are back
in this beta version of map maker the introduced
1.3 game mode gem grab, brawl ball, showdown
2.game modes with a different environment like for showdown we have 2 environment Mortis mortuary and classic one
3 rename of the map which we are building the name of the map should more than 3 characters
4.these modes can only be with friends or bots in a friendly battle.
to create a map follow these steps:
step 1: click on the hamburger button or the button which is at the top right corner there you will see an option for map maker click on it
step 2: now click on create map a new popup will appear then enter the name there it should not be less than 4 characters
step 3: save it
to play on the created map:
step 1: click on the hamburger button or the button which is at the top right corner there you will see an option for friendly battle click on it
step 2: now click on the mode selection button and then click on the map maker icon it will be at the top left corner there you will see your map
step 3: click on the map and that is it
good points for mapmaker:
there are many good points for this map maker feature :
1. the feature allows us to build a map that will help us in understanding the map theory ie how to play on a particular map or which brawler is best for which mode
2. this map maker has a lot potential than we are seeing, right now it is harder to see the potential but as time will pass away we will get more idea on how to use this feature in a more amazing way
3. many features are introduced in brawl stars and mostly are introduced for moving the game to the next level or you can say to upgrade the game but this map maker feature focuses on more practicing and playing with friends and this feature is really one of the most important features as it is really hard to play with a friend and have fear or losing trophy.
4. the game is introducing something big we are not confirmed but there are so many things that are telling us that we are gonna get something big we will talk about this later
Bad points for mapmaker: a
there is nothing perfect in this world everything has good and bad points and here we will discuss them also
1. a bit frustrating:
personally, I don't know about you guys but while making the map we found it a bit frustrating like mapping walls drag and drop removing things maybe we also play clash of clan and that's why we faced the problem
2.limitations:
firstly when we went into mapmaker and started making map what we only saw is red boxes due to some brawlers limitation and rules and this makes us feel more limited
3. game mode:
right now there are currently only three game modes gem grab showdown and brawl ball.
exploring feature :
remove:
to remove anything like walls spawn position or grass you remove them just click on the remove button and click on the thing which you want to remove
obstacles:
obstacles are anything that stops moving forward in brawl stars there are many things like walls barrel, skeletons, boxes which spawn gems in the showdown and yes grass also is an obstacle. to place them just click on any obstacles and click on the place where you want to place or just click and drag to place multiple objects
keep in mind:
1. you can block the area of gem spawning area or where the gem spawns
2.you can place player position or respawning position anywhere in the map
3.like gem grab you can put the obstacle around the ball in brawl ball
4.also you cannot block the goal area in brawl ball
5.in the showdown, you can place up to 50 boxes but only 16-20 will appear only
Conclusion:
we cannot say right now that whether this map maker is good or bad because the game is in beta, we have to wait for at least 6 months to see if this map maker is good or not like the filter for the clan in clash of clan after they removed global chat in the beginning player faced a lot of problems but now it is improving day by day and becoming better
