Why Edgar Is So OVERPOWERED??? And How To Counter Edgar

 hey everyone what is up hope you all doing great and in today's blog we are going to discuss how Edgar is overpowered and also how to counter it so without any further delay let's go and jump to our topic.

how Edgar is overpowered???

his attack:

Edgar is a new epic brawler who has very low health but with his attack, he can heal himself with his single punch he can deal about 550 damage which means he can deal around 1000 damage per shots which is not too much but here comes the thing when he attacks any brawler and its touches to them then he gains sone amount of health the heal is around 150 per punch ie 300 per shot and that is what one thing that is making him overpowered but this only occurs when you are taking the close fight with him and in most of the cases you will be in his range. also, his reloading is too fast to kill anyone easily

his super:

when his super get charged he can jump like el primo but the difference is that el primo deals damage while Edgar just jumps like piper jumps but after jumping he get some amount of speed boost and this is what making Edgar overpowered because his supercharges automatically like darllyl and most of the player who does is that they just wait for his super to charge and then hide in bushes and wait for someone to come in range and then they attack and since he gets some speed boost after his super he can easily fetch anyone easily even max cannot save himself by running we had to use his super to run away from Edgar if he jumps on her to attack.

his gadget:

his gadget lets you charge his super more than half or you can say it just leaves 1/3 of the super and in-game modes like brawl ball this is really overpowered because most of the players just use his gadget in the beginning and jump on the other team and wipe them out instantly. not only in brawl ball but also in the heist and present plunder game mode.

his star power:

his star power let you deal damage around 1000 when he jumps with his super Edgar already has a lot of ability and this star power is adding more ability to him his star power is not that much overpowered but due to his other things like attack gadget and reloading speed his star power is looking overpowered  

his speed and his reloading speed:

he is overpowered like amber, he has high movement speed by which he can fetch anyone and his reloading speed quickly to kill anyone easily.

how to counter Edgar :

countering Edgar is not as difficult as amber was, countering amber was hard because she has a range by which she kills from a far distance. read these tips to counter Edgar easily

1 beware of the distance:

he can attack up to 2 tiles from his normal attack and he can jump up to 7 tiles with his super so whenever you see Edgar near you just look for the super when his super get charged he will have a blue ring around him and whenever you see his super is charged try to make a proper distance with him 

this will actually help you to take the fight with Edgar when you are playing with the brawler who has low health or low movement speed.

2.high DPS and high health brawler can deal him very easily :

brawler that has high health like frank they can take much more damage than any other brawler and due to their health they can deal more damage and kill Edgar or brawler who has high DPS can easily face him they can deal a lot more damage than his healing so it can be a good idea to use high DPS brawler against Edgar

3.thrower are the worst:

if you are playing with throwers like sprout or barley then it would be much much better to stay away as much as you can you can take a fight with as a thrower, even if you are playing team try to stay away from the Edgar coz taking fight just because you have another teammate and with thinking that he will help you can make situation worse.

4.long range brawler:

long-range brawler is the best brawler who can counter Edgar easily brawler like a colt, max and piper are the best counter to Edgar just try to make a safe distance and target him out of his super's range in that way you will be safe even when he jumps on you and try to fetch you.

5.mortis :

in short-range Mortis a just a good counter so if you are playing with Mortis you can try to take the fight but not recommended

Conclusion:

I think Edgar really need some nerf :

1. healing nerf:

healing is the one thing that is making him an overpowered brawler not much but I think he needs some healing nerf because when he gets some power cubes his healing ability becomes even more powerful than before.

2. speed nerf:

Edgar is short-range brawler so need some speed to be balanced and his speed is ok but the speed boost which he gets after using his super that is what making difficult to play against him 

3.reloading speed :

his reloading speed is too fast that should be nerfed a bit but not too much.
